To walk a path of higher empowerment, takes diligence in our search for daily support. We are freed in our pursuit – but it takes practice. Our lives with their linear confines tempt us to look back and focus on our short-comings, when all we long for is to live fluidly. We want to enjoy life. Our capacity to persevere is blocked by our consumation by the past. Change can be as simple as aligning with the seasons. We gauge our activities much as our ancestors did. We have the freedom to choose. Anxiety is a fear of loosing control, when in reality we have none. What moments define your happiness? Were you in control during their occurance?
I want to dwell for a moment on the concept of the Rainbow Warrior, for this "identity" is our first step into ownership of our stories, in order to heal and return vitality takes commitment.
I don't remember who first addressed this concept with me, but I worked with it for a long time. From watching myself step out of the abused wive and victimized Indian, to working with others who carried similar patterns, my sense has been that fearful control is our greatest sabbator – and it's time to let it go – the sad story can be over and our focus can shift to fulfilling dreams.
It is in this connection that the Star Path invariably unites us and I am asked: "How an we be both." While it may be hard to conceive, we are mixed bloods, mixed concepts, that meld to make us who we are.
It is important to understand that we are all we need to be - from both - both are integral in our perspective philosophy, and our next step is taken from this understanding. We penetrate illusion, when we hear our own voice – when we awaken to the truth of our value. We no longer separate, we heal. We accept our divinity and find safety.
